Lakeland Swim Conference announces contest for new logo

With 14 teams from Morris, Passaic and Sussex Counties competing in three divisions, the Lakeland Swim Conference is the premier summer swim conference in north Jersey and is preparing to up-grade its image.

"The Lakeland Swim Conference is looking for designs for a new logo for our conference," said Sam Parsons, the Chairman of the LSC directors. "The new logo will be posted on the LSC website, LAKELANDSWIMCONFERENCE.COM, that has been hosted by SPORTSINTHEGARDENSTATE.COM since 1999. All conference athletes are welcome and encouraged to submit entries."

"The individual who submits the winning logo, will be featured in a story published not only on the LSC web site but also in the appropriate weekly newspaper of the winner," added Parsons. "SPORTSINTHEGARDENSTATE.COM will present a $100 scholarship/savings bond at the LSC championship meet to be held at Packanack Lake on August 12, 2006."

The entry deadline is July 30, 2006. Entries may be submitted at the "A" revision meeting or sent to: Lakeland Swim Conference, c/o Tom Durant, 57 Fayson Lakes Road, Kinnelon, NJ 07405.
